  1. Played RPGs: Yes

RPGs Played: D&D 3.5/4/5, Mage: the Ascension, Changeling: the Dreaming, d20 Star Wars

For reference, I played on a basketball team in 7-8th grade and softball from K-6th grade.

  2. Played RPGs: Yes

RPGs Played: D&D, Car Wars. My brothers and friends and I also played a space battle one that I can’t remember the name of, but it was weak so we wrote our own to play.

That said, this was a phase for us over the course of a year. We went on to other things.

  3. Rpgs yes

    Rpgs played
D n D 4 and 5 mainly. Tried to get into a couple others and the groups always fell through. Interestingly, I got into them in college and wouldn’t touch them with a ten foot pole in HS. Continued until I was 26 and started realizing they were a huge waste of time I needed to invest in other areas.

  4. Do video games count?

Otherwise, only dabbled. Did a session of Star Wars: Imperial Assault.

  5. Played RPGs: Yes

    RPGs Played: Vampire: the Masquerade.

Had no idea of RPG’s relationship with the occult. I just thought vampires were cool when younger.

  6. Played RPGs: Yes, current Gamemaster

RPGs played: Dark Heresy, D&D 4e, Pathfinder, Traveler, Twilight 2000, Star Wars, Rifts, Shadowrun, others. Do wargames count? Some of them cross over.

“Does running patrolls down RPG ally count?”

    Only in Twilight 2000.

  7. Twilight 2000 is an old game based on an apocalyptic post WWIII scenario in which the Cold War turned hot. Each player assumes the role of a soldier who has been abandoned by the dissolution of their army.

  8. Ah, Twilight 2000. When the Russians caught up with my sapper team in Poland after we liberated a small POW camp, we retreated across the last bridge over the river to Krakow and blew it. They took out our APC home with a golden BB, however, so we negotiated passage on a river barge as security contractors before night came and snipers could swim across to finish us. Turns out the barge captain knew of an apocalyptic cult downstream and wasn’t hiring us as a mere precaution. Good times.

  9. I will have to admit the idea of some of these games is pretty interesting

However I saw some folks playing D&D( I think) in Korea and the bickering over imaginary stuff just killed my curiosity

  10. Yes, D&D back in the early 1980s in high school, and also some Traveler. Nothing since I started college in the mid-80s though.

  12. Yes. Lots. First though was Gamma World. Because it wasn’t D&D and therefore was an easy sell to my parents.
